Summary: Talent Development with KPG
In 2013 we have introduced a new programme for promising students. It is via invitation only and must be an extension to a vocational course (such as Performance Stream or Advanced Acting Program) for students to be eligible. It adds an extension classes in dance, voice and drama and aims to train students to a professional standard. All classes will be on a Saturday reducing the need to attend midweek classes. The dance extension class will replace Advanced Jazz and the vocal extension class replaces Advanced Musical Theatre. The Production class allows students to be cast and complete a production every term, performing it at Family night on the last day of every term. Term 1 will be a dramatic scene/one-act play, Term 2 will be a Musical Production – 13 The Musical, Term 3 will be a comedic play/scene and Term 4 will be a Short Film or Music Video.
